NAADI ( PULSE READING )
Pulse = Naadi in Sanskrit, is the first step taken to evaluate the physical and mental state of a person. This forms the basis of diagnosis as per our philosophy. Naadi
What is Naadi (Pulse reading) ?
Naadi is the vibratory force present in an organism from conception to death. This force is characterized by beats present right from the zygotic stage. It is the self sustaining, permanent vital energy. The physical and mental state of a person can be evaluated by carefully observing and studying these beats.
How can Naadi be interpreted ?
The nature of the beat will vary in a person on different occasions depending on the physical and mental state, thus helping us in the evaluation of a person. The toxicity at different levels of the body can be clearly interpreted by checking the pulse of a person. Metabolism, Cytoplasm and Nucleus are the three main features of a Naadi. Metabolic alterations are easily rectified but cytological defects may need more time. Hereditary (nucleus) alterations may not be rectified.
How does Naadi vary ?
Following factors influence the variations of a Naadi
  • Food and living habits
  • Stress
  • Heredity
When to take pulse ?
Naadi is best read in the morning hours, prior to the consumption of any food. Interpretations of pulse soon after a tiring journey or lack of sleep or during menstruation may vary.
Naadi locations
Though there are many locations in the body to read Naadi, the ideal spot is the left wrist over the radial artery in the case of a female and the radial artery of the right wrist in the case of males.
